Dr Alan Nazha B Med FANZCA FIPP FFPMANZCA
Dual qualified Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain Physician with expertise in minimally invasive pain therapies. Completed anaesthetic training at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2011 (FANZCA qualification) and underwent further subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital, Concord Hospital and Hunter Pain Clinic. Awarded a merit in pain medicine fellowship examinations (FFPMANZCA) and went on to subspecialise further with a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP).
Private hospital appointments at The Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, The Northern Beaches Hospital and The Mater Hospital. Dr Nazha is the Head of Pain Services and Chair of Medical Staff Council at Hornsby Hospital.
Dr Nazha has a special interest in the treatment of persistent post-surgical pain, neuropathic pain, CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome), spinal pain as well as interventional therapies including neuromodulation (spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation).
Dr Jane Standen MBBS (UniSyd) FANZCA FFPMANZCA
Dr Jane Standen is a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. She is a member of the International Society of Pain and the Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Standen is interested in a multidisciplinary approach to pain assessment and management. Her practice incorporates a wide age range from early adolescence to the very elderly and manages pain relating to both cancer and non cancer pathology. She practices with a holistic approach.
